Setting the standard
In the early seventies, dedicated to setting the standard for outstanding custom-made clothing, Mira Horoszowski founded La Petite Yvette Boutique in Niles, Illinois. She named the small boutique after her newly born daughter, Yvette, where she initially carried a small line of her designs. All of the clothing for the store was personally sewn by Mira, and a seamstress she had hired.
From the beginning, Mira paid extremely close attention to the quality and fit of each garment made, and the construction of each and every article of clothing that was produced by the boutique.
Commitment
Although our name has changed to Mira Couture, the work ethic and the vision Mira had when she opened the business over thirty years ago remains the same. Mira Couture's attention to every detail continues to be the main focus of our business. Our continued commitment to our growing clientele requires that we constantly search out the newest and most up-to-date fabrics and styles, while staying current with the trends.
